Money, Religion, and Politics: A Closer Look at Longue Vue
October 5, 2023 – September 9, 2023
Longue Vue offers elegant architecture, fine furnishings, and refined rooms—but it’s much more. It’s a 20th-century design masterpiece, a “smart house” of innovation, and a family home with a strong community purpose. The Sterns welcomed those excluded elsewhere, used their privilege for the greater good, and embraced bold, progressive ideals.
LaVonna’s exhibit, Be The Light (Between the Earth & Sky), runs through February 25, 2023, with a closing event from 1–3 PM that day.

Rich Soil by Kristine Mays
Sculpted from thousands of pieces of wire hooked and looped together, each of Kristine Mays’ garments embodies a fleeting gesture or expression that delivers a message of strength while challenging how we view ourselves and others.

Longue Vue: A Love Story
Longue Vue is at once a family home, a masterpiece of design, and a place of conversation and convening for an entire community. It is also the locus of a deeply romantic love story.
