Make a Charitable Donation!

Longue Vue is happy to accept gifts of securities as well as planned giving commitments to help support our organization now and in the future. Please contact Executive Director Baty Landis at sblandis@longuevue.com to learn more about this donation option.

2025 Fundraising Priorities

Longue Vue is committed to a respectful relationship with the natural environment. As a proud member of the Climate Toolkit Network through Phipps Conservatory, we have eliminated leaf blowers on site (2019), single-use plastics (2021), and animal-based products in our cafe (2023). Our gardens are maintained with organic products, and our equipment is nearly all electric.

Help us continue our journey in 2025! This year, our goal is to go 100% electric and zero-waste.

Landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman’s timeless, masterful gardens and house interiors, completed in 1942,  earned Longue Vue National Historic Landmark status in 2005 and designation as a National Park Service American Treasure in 2024. A pioneering female entrepreneur and landscape architect, Shipman shaped every aspect of the Longue Vue experience.

Gifts to the Shipman Collection support preservation and restoration of her design throughout our property.

This year we launch a new initiative focused on building relationships with our neighbors across the Palmetto Street Canal. Hello, Hollygrove will include special family memberships, camp scholarships, and more incentives to invite residents of the Hollygrove community to make Longue Vue a regular stop. Contributions to Hello, Hollygrove will support tree plantings partnerships, cross-canal collaborations, and access programs for Hollygrove residents throughout the year.
